Description: Notice of Furnishing Labor, Materials or Equipment.
Scope: State of South Carolina, Private Work.
Time Constraints: Notice of Furnishing should be served within 90 days, but you can send any time after the start of furnishing labor, materials or equipment. Remember that this notice must be sent before a lien claim can be made, and that it must served within the 90 day after furnishing time frame to file a lien.
Considering South Carolina law, it is our suggestion that this notice be sent no later than 45 days after your first furnishing of labor, materials or equipment.
Information Requirements: The information required by the program.
Form Types: Notice of Furnishing Labor, Materials or Equipment, Exhibit A-D, if required, and Owner Letter, if desired.
Procedures: Enter the program data, including Additional Legal Parties or Releases for Other Companies. Copies of all of the forms should be sent to the owner and general contractor, if any, by certified mail or personal delivery. It should be sent as soon as possible for maximum protection.
